Dillon Robertson is a third-year graduate student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fairfield University. Trained in the Structural and Strategic models of Family Therapy, he is also learning to apply Emotionally-Focused and Experiential models in addition to Play Therapy. He values a systemic view of problems that seeks to understand how every member of a family or society can create positive change for themselves and others. Before beginning his therapeutic training, Dillon worked with children and teens in a variety of contexts ranging from daycare to a residential care facility for boys suffering from trauma-related behavioral disorders. He is passionate about being a healing presence in children’s lives, as well as helping individuals, couples, and whole families find health and wholeness in themselves and their relationships.
